Back in Black – New Zealand-based glossy Black Magazine offers four top models for its latest covers featuring Hanne Gaby Odiele, Andrej Pejic, Valerija Kelava and Milou van Groesen. The quartet wears spring looks from the likes of Louis Vuitton, Chanel and Robert Lee Morris for the new issue set to hit newsstands on Monday.
Gaultier’s Ode to Amy – Walking to his own beat, Jean Paul Gaultier did not present an array of gowns for his spring 2012 haute couture show, but instead offered an ode to late singer Amy Winehouse with a collection of tailored jackets, form-fitting skirts and bustiers. Models wore Winehouse’s signature beehive and had cigarettes in hand as they strutted down the runway with the singer’s tunes playing in the background. The color palette was a somber black with splashes of citrus and lime to reveal lacy undergarments, silk dresses and belted waists.
He’s No Lady – Andrej Pejic strikes again with the February cover shoot of Fashion Canada. In front of Moo King’s lens, the androgynous model wears a mix of elegant and edgy looks from the likes of Joe Fresh, Alexander McQueen and Chloe styled by George Antonopoulos. Flawless hair and makeup by Veronica Chu complete Andrej’s eclectic ensembles.
