Amber Valletta for H&M Conscious Exclusive Spring 2014 Campaign
H&M’s Conscious Campaign–After featuring the Conscious Exclusive lookbook earlier this week, we have a look at the spring 2014 Conscious campaign starring 90s icon Amber Valletta and the EVER Manifesto designers. Wearing the collection of sustainable materials including Tencel, polyamide and hand-drawn prints; the women charm in the fashionable designs. “H&M is proud of its sustainability work. Conscious and Conscious Exclusive show the breadth of possibilities with sustainable materials, and our new Clever Care labeling lets our customers join our mission towards a more sustainable future for fashion,” says Ann-Sofie Johansson, H&M´s Head of Design, New Development. The Clever Care labeling gives customers tips for cleaning their clothes with less of an environmental impact.
Conscious Fashion – Following up the news that Amber Valletta would front its spring 2014 Conscious campaign, H&M has revealed it will not be releasing just one but TWO eco-friendly collections. Valletta will star in the Conscious and Conscious Exclusive advertisements, with the Exclusive line also featuring Elizabeth Von Guttmann and Alexia Niedzielski of design think tank Ever Manifesto. “I’m very excited to work with the H&M Conscious campaign, because we share the same values about sustainability,” says Valletta.
Amber for H&M – Fashion retailer H&M has just released the news that model and actress Amber Valletta will appear in the 2014 H&M Conscious campaign. The new collection hits select H&M stores on April 10th of next year. You may remember that this year’s Conscious collection starred French actress Vanessa Paradis photographed by Camilla Akrans.
Amber is certainly a proponent of environmentally friendly fashion. The American model recently collaborated with Yoox.com for the Master & Muse collection which focuses on sustainable style.
Model Muse – Online fashion retailer Yoox has collaborated with model Amber Valletta for a new project named Master & Muse. The collaboration taps some of fashion’s leading names for a line of clothes that are made fashionably but most importantly, responsibly. Craig McDean photographs the American beauty in the lookbook images featuring stylish basics like oversized totes, streamlined coats and dresses made with notable brands like Vivienne Westwood, Guava and Mat & Nat.
The Model Issue – For its September issue, Interview Magazine taps a cast of all supermodels for a series of seven individual covers shot by Mert & Marcus. Beauties Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Daria Werbowy, Amber Valletta, Stephanie Seymour, Christy Turlington and Linda Evangelista all pose in dynamic black and white images for the new issue. Karl Templer and Ludivine Poiblanc worked as stylists for the covers.

Villa Valletta – Photographed in the Villa d’Este in Tivoli, Amber Valletta returns as the face of Emilio Pucci’s spring 2013 campaign (see the fall ads here). The American beauty once again poses for the lens of Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott in seductive images featuring the opulent, Indochina inspired prints of the season.
Spotlight on Prada – For its spring 2013 campaign, Prada enlists an all star cast featuring a mix of rising and established stars photographed by Steven Meisel. Models Vanessa Axente, Saskia de Brauw, Irina Kravchenko, Eva Herzigova, Sung Hee, Irene Hiemstra, Kirsten Owen, Sasha Pivovarova, Amber Valletta, Maartje Verhoef and Raquel Zimmermann pose in the label’s minimal, floral embellished pieces. McCartney’s Starry Evening – Stella McCartney’s fall 2012 evening collection enlisted some top names for the lookbook including Shalom Harlow, Amber Valletta and Alexa Chung as models. The new collection is simple yet elegant featuring minimal shapes, marble prints, delicate lace and color blocking. A dreamy color palette of orange, cobalt blue, sea foam green, black and white is used to emphasize architectural contours. Metallic accents on belts and other accessories bring a glam touch to the evening looks.
Amber Valletta and Behati Prinsloo round out the final covers for i-D’s summer issue. Photographed by Craig McDean and Matt Jones respectively, the girls sport the i-D wink with pride.
