Alasdair McLellan photographs the British model in a series of portraits where she sports a wardrobe of all Azzedine Alaia styled by Alastair McKimm. The makeup and hair for the shoot is kept minimal to let Cara’s natural beauty shine through.
Lovely Lily – Lily Aldridge graces the pages of Galore Magazine’s fourth issue in a fashion spread photographed by James Macari. The Victoria’s Secret babe wears sporty swimsuits and jackets from the likes of Herve Leger, Mara Hoffman and Veronica Brett styled by Mary Fellowes. CR Fashion Book #3 Covers with Kim Kardashian and Emily Ratajkowski
CR #3 – Carine Roitfeld’s bi-annual fashion magazine CR Fashion Book (which has a starring role in the upcoming “Mademoiselle C” documentary) is getting ready to launch its third issue on September 12th. The publication features models such as Karlie Kloss, Natasa Vojonovic and Irina Shayk. Kim Kardashian and Emily Ratajkowski of “Blurred Lines” video fame appear on the cover while there are fashion features shot by Tom Ford, Sebastian Faena and Bruce Weber. Magic of Rodarte – Elsa Sylvan appears like a woodland nymph in Elle Muliarchyk’s ethereal cover story for Gravure Magazine. Priscilla Polley and Caitlyn Leary styled the Swedish stunner in Rodarte’s feminine fashions while hairstylist Adam Markarian and makeup artist Chiho Omae completed her transformation to mythic creature. In black and white, this dreamy feature is as much about art as it is fashion.
In the City – Kwak Ji Young poses around New York City’s Wall Street for a fall fashion spread featured in the September 2013 edition of Elle Taiwan. Lensed by Zoltan Tombor and styled by Sofia Odero, the Korean stunner gets decked out in a wardrobe of Fendi, Balenciaga, Emanuel Ungaro, Chanel and more in the urban setting. Kwak’s sleek hair is courtesy of Tamas Tuzes while makeup artist Steffi Willmann gives her a bold brow and red lips.
Black and White Beauties – The enduring relationship of British designer Margaret Howell and photographer Koto Bolofo continues this month. The pair teamed up for the fifth time to create an advertising campaign for Margaret Howell’s fall-winter 2013 collection. Select models Eliza Cummings and Ben Allen star in the ads which focus on Margaret Howell’s traditional fabrics and classic designs. Howell also took charge of styling the shoot, which was fittingly photographed at a speciality tailoring factory near Ancona, Italy.
The Most Dazzling in the Crowd – Wen Liu captures Chinese beauty Xu Liu posing amongst a crowd of handsome men for FGR’s latest exclusive. The model wows in elegant looks ranging from menswear inspired suiting to printed pieces styled by Jing Bi. Xu Liu really does dazzle the camera in the studio shots with side-swept bangs and a dark, berry red lip color.
The City of Glamour – Gracing the pages of H&M’s quarterly magazine, Dutch model Bette Franke shows off the many sides of glam in the fall issue. Katja Rahlwes captured the beauty in Paris for a luxe outing where Bette sports a mix of casual denim, metallic fringe, military-inspired outerwear and boyish blazers styled by Geraldine Saglio.
