Fun with Flowers – Up and coming model Ana-Maria Georgescu stars in a seventies inspired style spread for the latest issue of Femina Magazine, a popular Chinese magazine. The fresh face poses against a backdrop of rainbow-colored flowers for enigmatic Chinese photographer Shxpir. Difei Sun styled Ana-Maria in vibrant fashions that channel the hippie heyday. Bold blue eyes from make-up artist Sun Qi and Farrah Fawcett-style blonde locks by hair stylist Jason X set off this retro look.
Timo Weiland Resort – Timo Weiland’s resort 2014 collection is heavily focused on geometric prints and grid patterns inspired by architecture. The American designer offers an outing of blue, grey, white, black and even a pop of neon green for the season’s color palette. Pants feature geometric prints with a silhouette reminiscent of golf-pants while skirts have a sporty tennis shape. Fabrics this season include acid-washed-leather and denim; adding an undeniable cool factor to the classic shapes.

Smell Like McQueen – Looking to produce its first fragrance in ten years, Alexander McQueen has signed a licensing deal with P&G Prestige to start working on new scents immediately. “Alexander McQueen has captured the imagination of the world in a unique and indelible way. The brand has become synonymous with modern British couture and will bring their incredibly passionate and emotional point of view to fragrance,” says Joanne Crewes, President of P&G Prestige about the deal.
City Limits – Getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city, photographer David Cohen de Lara shoots these black and white portraits starring Eveline Rozing. The blonde looks cozy in a laid-back wardrobe of knitwear, jackets and trousers chosen by stylist April Jumelet. Designs from the likes of Weekday, Hunkydory and French Connection are highlighted in the outdoor-themed images. For beauty, makeup artist Elise Haman creates a mostly fresh faced look to go with Eveline’s tousled tresses.
Milla – After a look at the cover last week, here is the main editorial for Elle Ukraine’s July issue starring model and actress Milla Jovovich. The dark-haired beauty was photographed by Eric Guillemain (2b Management) in a sunny series of outdoor images. Marni Resort – Marni’s resort 2014 collection offers the label’s signature ladylike yet eccentric aesthetic with an outing of womanly silhouettes which place focus on the waist. The color palette this season is varied; ranging from black and white to jewel toned purples, blues and greens. Skirts fall to the knee while 3/4th length blouses are worn over cropped trousers and long tunics. The Marni woman also makes a nod to the seventies for resort, wearing bold psychedelic prints that play off floral motifs. Bags this season are rectangle-shaped made with contrasting borders, laminated effects and perforation techniques while shoes range from flat sandals to platform heels.
Daria on the Beach – Daria Werbowy poses in St. Barts for the July cover of Vogue Spain. The Canadian top model was shot by Patrick Demarchelier and styled by fashion director Belen Antolin for the new issue. Daria wears a motorcycle jacket and swimwear bottoms in the beach-themed snap.
Autumn Deluxe – With a collection featuring art deco-inspired details and monochromatic prints, the fall 2013 campaign from Hugo Boss’ Boss line stars top models Anja Rubik and Joan Smalls lounging in a minimal setting. Photographed by Tom Munro, the duo poses in a New York studio wearing a mix of feminine frocks and sharp tailoring.
