Stella McCartney’s Sporty Fall – After an evening wear collection shown during London Fashion Week, Stella McCartney returned to Paris Fashion Week for a sportswear inspired fall 2012 preview. A color palette of electric blue, black, ivory and taupe grounded the minimal luxe showing. Sculpted shoulders and short dresses came in a mix of tweed and silk jacquards. Autumn also showcased relaxed suiting with pajama style pants and tailored jackets. McCartney muse Natalia Vodianova opened and closed the show in high collars which reoccurred throughout the fall presentation.

Great collection! Shoes are amazing!
I want to like it, and a lot of the tailoring is fun, but I’m just… I don’t know… I’m over the whole crayon blue/charcoal gray/black palette.Â
I love the blue color, but the outfits do nothing for me, & the first one on Natalia is very disappointing. Â I still don’t think Stella would be a designer without her famous last name.
