The Virgin Spring – Photographer Sølve Sundsbø and stylist George Cortina team up for a story of ethereal beauty published in the March edition of Vogue Japan. Models Saskia de Brauw and Kinga Rajzak are haunting visions in white with the spring designs of Givenchy, Chanel, Tom Ford and Alexander McQueen amongst others taking center stage. Makeup artist Hannah Murray gives the girls a perfect glow while hair stylist Samantha Hillerby keeps their coifs understated.

Despite appearing less, Kinga is way more intriguing.  This is light and dreamy- Kinga’s expressions were right on the money and Saskia’s were overall harsh, I know that’s her “thing,” but she’s done well in softer edits before.  I guess they wanted a juxtaposition between the impish, calm beauty of Kinga and Saskia’s angry stone-woman sort of deal, still think she could’ve benefited from trying a different emotion or being more subtle in her approach.

  3. Kinga is spectacular in this set. On the other hand, I don’t like that it seems Saskia was asked deliberately to look “tough” which did not work at all.
