Always the chameleon, Sasha Pivovarova goes from elegance personified to maternal figure for the November issue of Vogue Paris. Wearing bohemian inspired garments from the likes of Alberta Ferretti, Lanvin and Yves Saint Laurent styled by Anastasia Barberi, Sasha spends a day of relaxation and playtime in Mikael Jansson’s sun-drenched photos.

  1. Sasha is amazing. Did you ever think that this editorial is very reflective this mother-daughter relationship is very important and reinforce one fashion magazine that is beyond what a lovely girl always learn your first steps into fashion with her mother. I loved the pictures!

  6. Sasha is great, however not so much in this shoot. She really doesn’t “look” like she is the mother of that child, maybe her sister who is upset that she needs to spend the time with the mobile and unpredictable little creature. She looks like she would rather spend her time gazing at ..whatever makes bring out those stares that could freeze a sunny day. I really like this “not-from-this-world” image and look she projects but I find it totally unappropriate for this shoot where I would have liked to see a smile. Nope, not trivial one cause these are not family pictures..but she looks like she sees dead people..or like a ghost herself

  8. That last photo is beyond fantastic. In it, Sasha looks most connected to the child. There’s an overwhelming sense of emotion in these.

French Vogue cant do wrong. Proven time and time over.

    • @Macaylecharm – you are so right. This is absolutely perfect in every way. I can’t believe people are saying there is nothing tender about the relationship between Sasha and the girl…. you guys a blind and hardened…

  9. I did not realise it was a mother/daughter theme, i too thought it was some ‘out of this world’ sisterly relationship. I visioned silence between them, but an unconditional love
