Pop superstar Rihanna will join the ranks of Lady Gaga, Kate Moss, Nicole Kidman and Iman as the 2014 recipient of the CFDA Fashion Awards’ Fashion Icon Award. With three American Vogue covers, a recent campaign with Balmain and multiple collaborations with MAC Cosmetics; Rihanna has made her name known in the fashion and beauty industry. “We are proud to present Rihanna with the CFDA Fashion Icon Award for her impact on the industry as fashion’s most exciting ambassador in recent memory”, says Steven Kolb, CEO of CFDA.
