  1. I hope there was meant to be some sort of comedic effect with this editorial, because I found some of the facial expressions hilarious. It’s so overdone that it’s actually bearable. The styling is amazing, but that’s what you have to expect from Emmanuelle.

I really, really love Raquel and I’m guessing that her expressions aren’t meant to be taken seriously.  The clothing, along with the short hair, suggests that this should indeed be “fancy free” but the photography just weighs it down.  I know that Inez & Vinoodh can do great work, so is it Emanuelle’s influence that is detrimental?  Though the woman can style.
