Philosophy by Alberta Ferretti exchanges its high octane east meets west collection for a fall 2011 showing of sugary sweet looks. Models donned lightweight jackets paired with girly dresses in a nod to sixties chic. The shoes also had a flirty twist with sheeny pastel tones and chunky heels.

Ehh this could have been so much better. The colors and the lighting were terrible and the shoes were deffinatly not well thought out.

i think its too much 60s that it looks straight from a 60s version of the film Clueless, she has not modernized it. and those tights and shoes…

This collection reminds me of Easter in Oklahoma City 1947. My grandmother made me a lavender Easter dress w/white patent leather shoes.

loving the pastels, but what’s up with the lighting? it makes the models’ skin look rather creepy.

Although it’s old fashion look, i really like most of the dress and the coat. I think the main problems should be the pale colors and the lighting.

I loved all of it, save for that yellow number on the last page! It was really beautiful; the lighting was kind of horrible though…

The lighting looks ok on the images over at style.com
I kind of like the sugary sweetness of it, but wouldn’t wear any if it myself.
