Elie Saab Spring 2015–Inspired by the sea, Elie Saab’s spring-summer 2015 collection took the Lebanese designer’s creations to new depths with ombre effects, water prints and even fish-shaped motifs. Silk cady gowns, lace fabrications and leisurely trousers brought a seventies vibe to the new season. Even spring’s accessories are aquatic themed with blue and green hued heels as well as bags decorated with bubbles and fish-like exteriors. For the finale, Vanessa Axente hit the runway in a sparkling black mini dress covered by a flowy cape for dramatic effect.

Giambattista Valli Spring 2015–With only three days left of Paris Fashion Week, Italian designer Giambattista Valli presented his vision for spring-summer 2015 with an outing of sweet and feminine looks that did not shy away from embellishment. Mainly fringe, appliqué petal shapes along with embroidered leaves were the decorations of choice for the designer. Prints were optical, sometimes in 3D thanks to the aforementioned embellishments and had a retro vibe with psychedelic color combinations. Finishing the look, the Valli woman wears blocky heels adorned with oversized chain-like decorations and miniaturized bags featuring colorful straps.

Stella McCartney Spring 2015–While last season was a story of comfy knits and fringe, for her spring-summer 2015 collection, Stella McCartney channeled the seventies with a feeling of languid ease. From a white utilitarian jumpsuit as the opening look to denim top and skirt combos with whimsical zig-zags, it was all about daytime luxe for the Stella McCartney woman this season. Of course, girl of the moment Cara Delevingne made an appearance wearing a dramatic cape and mini dress look. The finale featured lightweight dresses with a mix and match of kitschy prints floating in airy layers.
