Ghesquière at Vuitton – Following months of rumors and Marc Jacobs’ departure from Louis Vuitton in October, Nicolas Ghesquière has been confirmed as the new artistic director of the French luxury brand. The news was announced on Vuitton’s Facebook page. The French designer previously worked as the creative director of Balenciaga and departed in 2012. Ghesquière’s first collection for the brand will be shown in March 2014 during Paris Fashion Week.
