Natasha Poly by Lachlan Bailey for Vogue Spain November 2011

On the RoadNatasha Poly is an easy rider for the November edition of Vogue Spain which she guest edits and stars in with this story photographed by Lachlan Bailey. Inspired by motorcycle culture, stylist Geraldine Saglio pieces together a wardrobe of leather and casual tees from labels such as Loewe, Maison Martin Margiela, Céline and Barbara Bui. Carefree hair by Rudi Lewis and a smokey eye by Sally Branka give Natasha the perfect bad girl look.

Natasha Poly is beautiful in this editorial, and you can see a hint of Kate Moss in her. But she had been portrayed as a rocker-chic style girl so many times it’s a bit boring.

It’s kinda reminiscent of Jason Lee Parry’s turned-controversial shoot with Hailey Clauson.

This screams of Vogue Paris and Emmanuelle Alt’s aesthetic. It’s perfection.

Can we please see some background other than chainlink fences and motorcycles when it’s a leather editorial?
