  1. Aw, this brings me back! When I was younger, buying Vogue actually seemed exciting and editorials like this were so fun and beautiful.

  2. Oh God.. this is insanely beautiful. I wish there was at least half of this in the nowadays editorials.. it’s really sad what magazines have turned into. Boring, repetitive and uncreative shit. Let’s hope someone does change that soon. Miss real fashion ?

  4. Steven Meisel still does this for IV all the time – what’s all this boring, repetitive accusation? If you don’t like modern editorial, don’t buy the magazines, simple. I like the models but the story is typical Meisel, overly hammy. You people would love anything as long as ‘names’ were involved.

    • Meisel may shoot for IV all the time, but no he really does not shoot this type of story all the time. When I first saw this editorial 5 years ago I didn’t know who Steven Meisel was, I barely only knew who Lily, Caroline or Gemma were because I was just getting into fashion. So, no I didn’t like the story because of names, I liked it because it was purely enjoyable to look at.

  5. Gemma was and is still my favourite model. Her beauty is just breathtaking and this editorial reminds me of how I had to save up for international editions of Vogue from my meager high school allowance to gaze at the magnificence of Gemma’s beauty.

  6. I love this so, so much. <3 Definitely one of my favourites.

Though I want to add that the iPod in the first shot of Lily alone made me laugh.

  7. This shoot definitely brings me back. I was obsessed with this for so long. Miss the days when Gemma Ward was the model of the time! <3
