L.A. StoryKoray Birand captures Mini Anden in sunny Los Angeles for the February cover shoot of Harper’s Bazaar Turkey. 1. Not to make the claim that I could do better but this is really one of those “been there, done that” kinda editorials.  It’s really so cliché considering the location.  And that first shot after the jump – who (with money and/or resources) HASN’T photographed the very same perspective?  I’m a fan of Koray Birand and I love Mini Anden; I just feel that this could’ve been much better.

  2. So glad it wasn’t just me – I was thinking “Have I seen this editorial before? Because I recognise that house…”. I love it – it so modern – but I also think it makes the shots look a little bit “same-y”. Maybe not a bad thing because “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”….
