Inspired by the 90s grunge age, the fall collection of McQ by the late Alexander McQueen has an intriguing mix of pattern, color and texture. Featuring stripes, patchworks, florals and denims, the autumn range truly evokes the androgynous style of the iconic era with a juxtaposition of feminine and masculine attire.

  5. Whoa I really love this, all of the layering and plaids mixed with stripes and dark makeup, it's so so good. I really want to grow my hair longer so that I can twist it in a bunch of buns, I used to wear my hair like that before and its awesome.

  8. I am SO pleased that the flag is still flying! When he had just died and there were rumours of the company being dissolved, I couldn’t imagine fashion without it.

  12. Annie, this is the collection that was to be shown at NYFW just days after he died, but in light of his death they canceled. This is the last of the McQueen designed pieces ): There still is no word on how either the main Alexander McQueen line or McQ (this line) will proceed. I will fully admit its a lot to live up to, but I do hope they find the right talent to keep his name alive while staying true to his aesthetic.
