i really wish this had been some other girl besides Lindsey, i know i’d like it a whole lot more.
I love the idea and the dress, but I just don’t know about Wixson for this even though I do like her.
the idea is plain to death…
no imagination, no creativity

Monarch butterflies are often associated with mind control experiments. The model’s intentionally vacant stare could be interpreted as support for such a symbol and theme.
Such a beautiful interpretation…

Would have been a great idea… with another model
WRONG MODEL, what were they thinking?
Lindsey seems like shes not putting any effort into this at all…
i think this is a part of the idea, she stares like a person who isnt there…i like the idea i like everything, but every time i see sth created for mcqueen by not mcqueen i want to cry and shout about how much better it could of been with him still alive…….:(
I guess ats a good point, but it just lacks so much in creativity when compared to the spring ’10 campaign.. Agree?

Hate her all you want, Lindsay is PERFECT for this! McQueen was never a cookie cutter pretty brand. It requires a unique interesting face. Lindsey is perfection. Her doll-like Lolita features compliment the butterfly whimsy. I adore adore adore this ad. Best of the season.

She has a very innocent look, I think thats why they chose her.

I’m so confused why you all think she is not right for it. I think she fits beautifully. It’s almost innocent, but beautiful. The only model I could picture looking better in this is Gemma Ward back in her hey day. Or Tanya D. But none of the current ‘it’ girls for sure.
I completely agree.
I think people are just used to tall Soviet barbies.

visually arresting..
She is beautiful but not in this shot. Looks like there is a huge pimple by her nose and her butt chin looks weird. I love Lindsay Wixon but what a bad picture. Maybe some make up would of been nice. Terrible photo. Even the way they spread the butterflies looks bad. Bad photograph!
She looks so stiff.
She looks so stiff.
Oh so sick of her!!! she is not that beauty and has always the same face with her mouth open in all pictures and campaigns!!! c´mon!!!!!!!!!!!
