Lacoste’s Felipe Oliveira Baptista was inspired by the brand’s ski heritage for the fall-winter 2016 runway collection. Showing mens and women’s looks, the creative director focused on sporty shapes and graphic color combinations with a street wear edge. Stand out looks from the collection include glossy vinyl pieces—from trench coats to parkas and boots, they have a wow factor. Baptista adds a touch of humor with a print of a ski figure or sweater that reads ‘une crocodelle’—referencing the house’s mascot. The more subdued looks also do not disappoint, an oversized sweater dress or mid-length skirt in velvet make for timeless additions.
