Kate Upton Channels Marilyn Monroe for Vanity Fair's Anniversary Cover

Kate Does Pin-upVanity Fair celebrates it 100th anniversary with model Kate Upton on the cover, looking very much like Marilyn Monroe with retro curls, a one-piece swimsuit and a birthday cake. The “Happy Birthday, Mr. President” moment was captured by Annie Leibovitz. Inside the magazine, Kate talks about coming across rude people in the industry, “I’m not going to name names, but one agency told me, ‘You’re too American, and everybody knows American women are lazy.’ I was so offended! I’ve never been so offended! I was like, ‘You know that you’re in America, right?’”

The new issue of Vanity Fair hits newsstands on September 10th in the US.

    The bodice doesn’t seem to fit her? Liking the hair and makeup.
