Baby You Can Drive My Car–A beautiful woman and a fast car. It’s a winning combination that has been around for decades, and the theme of our latest exclusive photographed by Steven Chee. Model Chloe Lecareux wears polished looks selected by stylist Marina Didovich featuring designs from Australian labels like Zimmermann, Lovisa and Dion Lee in a gritty, garage setting. For beauty, hair stylist Liz Kelsh creates Chloe’s sleek braids while makeup artist Renya Xydis gives her a standout red lip.
Monique Lhuillier Bridal 2015–For her bridal spring 2015 line showcased earlier this week, Monique Lhuillier presented as she calls it her “ethereal daydream”. We can not think of a more true description. Clouds of silk satin organza, tulle finishes, embroidered beading and Chantilly lace create a feeling of fantasy and romance—all things a bride wants to feel on her wedding day. While traditional white is a reoccurring color choice, the Lhuillier woman also wears pastel shades when she sees fit.
Throwback Blumarine—Going back to the early 2000s, we highlight Blumarine’s fall 2002 campaign for this week’s Throwback Thursday. The advertisements starred Shalom Harlow who posed in a countryside manor setting. Tim Walker photographed the campaign, and as you may know, set design is often a key part of his photographs. With an eclectic whimsical backdrop, Shalom brought the drama in the advertisements with her statuesque poses. Fast forward to today and Shalom is still a force. Just last year, she starred in Tiffany & Co’s spring campaign.
Southern Belle–American model Erin Wasson graces the pages of Marie Claire UK’s May issue for a beauty feature photographed by David Roemer (Atelier Management). The Texas-born model and face of Madewell’s spring campaign shows that beauty can be rebellious with leather looks styled by Lisa Oxenham. Hair stylist Peter Gray gives Erin tousled curls while makeup artist James Kallardos creates her smokey eye.
Leighton Wears Versace–Actress Leighton Meester attended the opening night part for her new project, “Of Mice and Men” on Broadway last night. The brunette wore a curve-hugging chiffon gown in navy blue from Versace. Leighton paired the look with gems from Kimberly McDonald and Jacob and Co. While this is a great overall outfit, the hair seems just a tad too casual for the gown. What do you think?

Dior / Mats Gustafson
Dior Gets Painted–Earlier this year, we featured illustrations of Dior’s fall line made by artist Mats Gustafson, and now the fashion house has commissioned the Swedish creative again to recreate its spring 2014 collection. Raf Simons’ designs are reinterpreted as watercolors, pastels and paper treatments for another take on Dior’s designs. In case you missed it, compare the watercolors to the spring runway show.
