  1. Hi, my name is Arefa and I am a fashion designer based in the UK. I have just recently set up my own bussiness designing a range of dresses.
The designs are a fusion of east meets west.
I also have my own website on where you can see some I my designs!
I launched my collection of dresses in London at a fashion show which was a part of London Fashion week.
Some of my designs have also been in a short film which is called See Me Now which you can see on You tube.
I have also advertised in the classified section of the Vogue magazine and I have also advertised in the London fashion Guide Christmas wish list 2014.
I was just wondering weather I could still apply for the casting even though I have missed the closing date! Or is their anything else you can do for me regarding publicity in the US would you by any chance be intrested in any of my designs.
I could even design a perticular outfit for a special occasion for someone. I have a real passion for fashion!!! And this is what I would love to do!
Hope to hear from you soon!

    Thank you

    Regards

    Arefa

  2. Today I showed up to the DVF casting and it was the most horrific experience EVER. Where should I start 1. Not organized AT ALL so there were ALOT of line skipping. I showed up at 11:30 and NEVER got a chance to be interviewed. Instead producers were picking out girls who weren’t dressed properly! 2. I didn’t mind waiting outside for that long because I knew it would be a good amount of people but after we were moved inside DVF studio girls who wanted to used the bathroom were told that their wasn’t ANY bathrooms in the building. When me and 3 other girls who I met on line were JUST in the bathroom. Were all grown adults NO NEED to lie just say we can’t used the bathroom. AND the last complaint the email said to bring materials or a profilo that reflect us it said NOTHING about a resume which MOST girls did not bring. Anyways this experience at DVF left a brand taste in my mouth and I will NEVER purchase anything from DVF and I will NOT be watching house of DVF season 2.
