I actually think Christophe has been able to carve out a place for himself, despite designing after Gaultier. He surely has his own aesthetic that is very different from the Hermes we’ve seen before and while it’s not the best show of the month, he is at the very least adept at using color.

Interspersed between the Mormon burkas there are some lovely deep citrus ensembles, and then finally some elegantly hung dresses (on the third page)–that almost don’t look like belong to the collection. My impressions are disjointed—but then again, so is this collection.
The white pieces need to either be different colours or have the white headscarves removed, because it looks pretty missionaries daughter.
