One Night Only – On May 31st, designer Giorgio Armani traveled to Beijing, China for the first time in six years and presented an edited version of his fall 2012 Emporio Armani and Giorgio Armani lines as well as the Armani Privé spring 2012 collection. Armani says, “I’ve always had a very special relationship with China, a country with a rich cultural background and a sophisticated aesthetic which has often inspired me in my search for atmosphere and mood. It is a place to which I have paid homage in many of my collections.” The Italian fashion house celebrates over a decade in China, with the first Armani Chinese store dating back to 1998.
