Celebrating his 25th year of marriage with his wife Claudine, Elie Saab, embraced a color palette of gold for his fall-winter 2015 haute couture collection. Inspired by his wife’s own gold wedding dress, models hit the runway in the same metal hue for a dreamy collection featuring various shades—white gold, rose gold and antique gold were complemented with rich shades of burgundy and green. At times, the gowns were sheer and lean while other silhouettes featured ball gowns with empire waistlines. Meanwhile Byzantine details including graphic cut-outs brought a contemporary look to the ethereal showing.
