Looking to Swiss artist Sophie Taeuber for influence, the fall-winter 2015 collection from Fendi was all about clean lines with a play on volume. Appropriate, considering Taeuber’s notability in the geometric abstraction art movement of the 20th century. Karl Lagerfeld and Sylvia Venturini Fendi sent out sleek looks on the catwalk including culottes, roomy coats and dresses layered over furry pants. The color palette varied from burnt orange to creamy white to fiery red and simple black. The peekaboo bag also got a makeover with birds of paradise flowers adorning the tops.
