  9. On many occassions, I think what an editorial needs is someone who has a strong character to represent the theme…in oppose just another pretty dolly girl…

    Actresses always get hired to do photoshoots like that, because they can act! Same as successful models do, because they are capable of projecting the ‘feeling’ for whatever subjects they need to protrait…Drew Barrymore is definitely characteristic in her own right and has the ability to transform into whatever characters she needs to be…last but not least, it’s great that she is not like most hollywood actress, looking the same because they all go to the same plastic surgeon!!

    And come on!! Retouching images is not something new, there were photographers ‘painted’ on films since 1940s.
    Fashion editorials is never about reality!! It’s a fancy dream people are after.
