Photographed by Masayuki Ichinose, Dioni is across between sex kitten and gothic lolita in monochramtic looks styled by Kumiko Yashiro. Look for Issue #11 on newsstands September 25th.

    • Editorials are not about the fashion designs. That is, they shouldn't be at the forefront. That's what catalogue and look book is for. The whole essence of an editorial is to use those designs as a SUPPLEMENT in a story – to bring those designs to life, showing viewers how people LIVE in the them. This is why not everybody can be an editor and that great editors are a rare handful.

  1. You guys are missing the point. “It’s WHAT the CLIENT wants. YOU, the model, and for that matter the photographer are ALL working for the client. Geez…..get your own company, clothing line….and THEN you can call all of the shots that YOU want. Everybody’s an art director all of a sudden….not mad at anybody BUT….that is the business of fashion.
