  3. I feel a sentimental affection for Chloe…

    My coming of age coincided with the brand’s halcyon days, under Phoebe Philo, when the air seemed sonorous with the ‘clunk-clop, clunk-clop’ of waifish girls in wooden wedges – but here, with another MacGibbon collection, I feel disappointed.

    Though more interesting than her previous meditations on camel, there’s still little to write home about.

This was one of the shows I was most looking forward to for Paris Fashion Week, and though I couldn’t watch it live on the website (I was busy getting an education) I watched it later and did NOT feel disappointed. A lot of the shoes, however, are very ordinary and the only ones that caught my eye were the ones with bows tied on the front. So pretty 🙂
