Sweet HerreraCarolina Herrera showed off a lighter side for her spring 2012 collection shown during New York Fashion Week today. A jovial color palette of canary yellow, sage green and rosy red took to the runway in airy gowns, day dresses and lightweight jackets. Prints ranged from songbirds to geometric designs while accessories included bangles, scarves and miniature handbags.

  1. Very nice collection, though I can’t say I love every single look.  Love the pastels at the beginning – they remind me of sorbet & gelato.  And serious points for the bird motifs!
