  4. Daft. With her natural beauty, Cara is one of the Asos models who can sell me practically anything. This is so smoothed out, it could be that aged-looking Alexandria girl from ANTM.

These ads say loud and clear that Burberry doesn’t think their cosmetics are enough to make even gorgeous Cara beautiful, so it’s not exactly a selling point to regular folk.

  9. I just don’t get what brands are still doing it??? EVERYBODY HATES IT

  10. Personally, I think the retouch is amazing. I love it. It is indeed smooth, but it is a good textured smooth. I don’t get why everyone gets so damn crazy over photoshopping these days, its so politically correct to be against retouching. And even though people know nothing about it, everyone has an opinion on what is to much. The retouching that also smooths out the skin is also the same thing that gives the image that 3d feel. Obviously Burberrys art direction is somewhat surreal and unobtainably perfect, not average and realistic.

  13. She looks so beautiful, it’s scary. Campaigns these days have too much photoshopping to it, and looks so fake.

  14. Possibly too much photoshopping, but I actually really like the overal effect – looks really fresh and I’m sure it’ll sell the product, which is the main purpose for any campaign, right?
