Bonnie Chen Tours London in Style for Harper’s Bazaar China July 2012, Shot by Zack Zhang

Fabulous London – With creative direction by Wei Tian, photographer Zack Zhang and team take a tour of famous London sites for this high gloss July editorial featured in Harper’s Bazaar China. Along with male models Tomek and Hugo Woddis, the elegant Bonnie Chen dons high fashion looks at the Palace of Westminster, Harrods, Green Park, Notting Hill Gate, Victoria & Albert Museum and Buckingham Palace among other locations.     I feel like something is missing here. They have a good concept and great location (not being biased), but the photographs itself aren’t that good in my opinion.

    not a fan of the hair and makeup in the last one on the first page – i wish her hair was either softer or in a half-done up do… and a more natural face – neutrals, nudes and such.

      .. and a pose with a bit more fluidity wouldn’t hurt.

    some of the photos’ flash/lighting reminds me of Terry Richardson’s style.  overall, I’m not a fan of the inconsistent post-processing.
