Setting the tone for the new season, Balmain’s spring 2011 show opened with Daria Werbowy donning a three piece ensemble of black, zippers and safety pins. As the show progressed, the collections punk theme became more apparent with distressed patterns, ripped stockings and a smattering of sequins. For spring, designer Christophe Decarnin presented a unique blend of anarchy and party glamour.

  1. Much softer than anything he’s done before. Im dying over those american flag tanks.

Did Carmen Cass chop off her hair??? She looks old now.

    • EXACTLY. I think at this point, Balmain is so easy to recognize. Sexy rock’n’roll. Although expensive as hell. Probably the most expensive luxury brand out there.

  2. If you visit style.com you will see an article about karmen kass short haircut. In my opinion, she didnt really had to cut it really short like other models such as, Nina Porter or Agyness Deyn that makes her look a bit older. On the other hand, she looks chic from certain angles and she will be featured in many runways sooner.

  3. I love Balmain but some of the pants are looking unflattering. Never would I have thought Freja’s or Sasha’s legs looking stubby but they kinda do and some other models’. Daria’s boobs on the last look is weirdddd

  4. I know this is signature Balamain, but its the same every season, and fashionistas are eventually going to realise $5,000 for a torn shirt is ridiculous, (if not already and just found moth eaten t-shirts in the back of their wardrobe or torn a $15 t-shirt themselves). the pants and back heels (sans bow) look A LOT like S/S10 Isabel Marant. something style.com will conviently miss

Looks like he has lost originality. shame.
