After a season sans black, it looks as if Alexander Wang has fallen in love with the dark pigment all over again for his fall 2011 collection. Besides a moodier palette for the autumn, Wang also played with sheer materials and fur accents even on sunglasses. Experimenting with shapes, wide capes and voluminous jackets made an appearance on the runway for a return to his dark roots this season.

      • Sure, the collection is terrible, but there is no reason to attack the models. These girls are beautiful, and unlike the clothing, the models are alive and have feelings and shouldn’t be talked about in that way. I think it’s rude and immature to call someone ugly. You can critique a model’s techniques, but your comment was just cruel.

        •  i’m sorry but these girls are hideous. it seems fashion is now trying to find the oddest, most alien looking girl. the bigger the lips, the bigger the eyes and the more freaky looking the better. girls like lindsey wixom, xiao wang, julia frauche -UGLY. some of them photograph well, but on runway they are beyond unattractive

  1. I guess there always has to be the oddball out that likes it. I like those shoes! I agree some of these clothes are not wearable, but there are some really good pieces here.

  3. Im a shameless Wang fan! Even when he creates horendeous stuff, I look at the gorgeous shoes and bags. But EVEN I cant defend this. Completely unwearable, impractical and unflattering. What is going on his head? Even the shoes are just plain awful. Usually they are the ones that save his collection, but this is just complete failure. Im sorry 🙁
