  1. love that she is doing high fashion. The current fashion scene needs a new look, instead of the childlike, lolita look nowadays

        • Interesting to think as soon as models become VS Angels they becoem commercial and, dare I say, Corney and gimicky(sp?). I love the fact Doutzen can still be high fashion and VS. always thought Isabel and Ales should have been the new crop of supermodels, they remind me of cindy crawford.

umm alessandra isnt listed as ‘the new crop of supermodels’ because she isnt from this generation, shes already a supermodel. and most vs models started off as high fashion, adriana only stop doing high fashion in 2006, karolina has never stopped, alessandra does it now and again.

    • She's not childlike? While, yes she has more curves than the average model, half of these dresses still hang off of her. I don't know if that white gown was meant to be like that but it looks like the dress is holding itself up and not even touching her. just my opinion…

      • Yes she is thinner than your average women, but I also mean her face is mature, not as though the model just changed out of their year 8 school uniform and popped on a couture gown

she started off doing high fashion so you cant really call her a new look, she only became a vs angel in 2004 at the age of 22 and started modelling at 15-16 so shes already done 6years+ of high fashion

    • I like her, but not in these. She's great on runway, but here she has face carved in stone, no facial movements, all the same.

  5. It's like a breath of fresh air. I love it when models pose with emotions and depth to the pictures. We need more editorials like this instead of young models looking posy and cold-faced all the time !

  14. not sure about this pictorial but i'm totally glad allesandra is doing more high fashion stuff cause she'd been my fave model since forever. haha. but anyway, one of the male models here looks like a male version of rosie huntington-whiteley. its most apparent in the last pic.

  18. I'm not a big fan of her face. Bit too harsh. I do love those pictures with Armani Couture dresses.

Haven't seeing Alessandra doing editorial in a long time!
I love it though: sexy, but with a sense of humor
